Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi just took down our favorite socialist superstar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and it was a sight to see.
Pelosi appeared on the CBS program “60 Minutes” and the interviewer, Lesley Stahl, asked her about the state of the Democrat Party.
“You have these wings — AOC and her group on one side,” Stahl asked Pelosi.
Without missing a beat Pelosi fired back “That’s like five people.”
“While there are people who have a large number of Twitter followers, what’s important is that we have a large number of votes on the floor of the House,” she said.
“By and large, whatever orientation they came to Congress with, they know that we have to hold the center. That we have to … go down the mainstream,” she said.
Well today Nancy Pelosi was once again asked about Ocasio-Cortez and the socialist wing of the Democratic party:
Asked in London about @AOC wing of party, Pelosi notes Dems didn’t win majority bc of “districts like mine or Alexandria’s.” She calls AOC “wonderful” but said the 43 districts they won “were right down the middle … I share those values but we must win .. This is about winning”

Here’s what the Speaker said next that is sure to enrage our favorite socialist superstar:
Pelosi says that in safe districts like that of @AOC , a glass of water with a letter “D” next to it would win election

Nancy Pelosi says Democrats won the House because of ‘mainstream, hold the centre victories’. Adds a ‘glass of water with a D next to its name’ would have won in her own or @AOC’s districts.

Grab some popcorn, this is going to get very fun. Can’t wait to see how Ocasio-Cortez responds.
Nancy Pelosi and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, both gifts that keep on giving, to Republicans!
