Ocasio-Cortez Swings At Republicans But Punches Herself In The Face Instead

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has stuck her foot in her mouth again as she attempted to take aim at Republicans.

The 29-year-old took to Twitter on Friday to create another fake boogeyman as she attacked supposed people who teller to go back to her old job.

“I find it revealing when people mock where I came from, & say they’re going to “send me back to waitressing,” as if that is bad or shameful.

“It’s as though they think being a member of Congress makes you intrinsically “better” than a waitress.

“But our job is to serve, not rule,” the young representative who has stated that she is in charge now, said.

Really? That is interesting because Ocasio-Cortez, in a recent speech, said that she was in charge and was the boss.

At a Girls Who Code event on Friday the 29-year-old took aim at opponents of her Green New Deal.

Is Ocasio Cortez embarrassing?

And she took aim at both the Republicans and Democrats that believe her ideas are unrealistic.

““I’m at least trying, and they’re not. And so the power is in the person who’s trying, regardless of the success,” she said.

“If you’re trying, you’ve got all the power, you’re driving the agenda, you’re doing all this stuff,” she said.

This is a basic disconnect from reality that is rampant among both the Democrat Party and this generation.

Trying is not doing. This generation has been taught that as long as you try you have accomplished something.

This is not the case. A 2-year-old kid can try to do something but success is success.

“Like, I just introduced the Green New Deal two weeks ago, and it’s creating all of this conversation. Why? Because no one else has even tried,” she said.

Apparently she forgot former President Obama who got us into the quagmire of the Paris Accord.

“Some people are like, ‘Oh, it’s unrealistic, oh, it’s vague, oh, it doesn’t address this minute little thing, and I’m like, you try!” she said.

“You do it! ‘Cause you’re not! ‘Cause you’re not! So, until you do it, I’m the boss! How about that?” she said like a baby having a tantrum.
