Eric Trump Tears Into De Blasio, Accuses Him Of Extortion Of The President

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio is taking another tack at going after President Donald Trump and his son believes it is extortion.

The quasi socialist mayor held a rally on Monday to announce that his city was going to implement a Green New Deal in the city.

The same Green New Deal variant proposed by New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez that got no votes, even by their own party.

But in New York De Blasio, who loves to ban things, is the dictator and does not have to go through Congress the way national legislation does.

But in a tweet on Monday the mayor tipped his hand and showed what his Green New Deal is all about, and it is about going after the president.

[email protected] is running scared from NYC’s Green New Deal. The temper tantrum his organization threw at Trump Tower today is proof.

“You’re on notice, Donald: we won’t let you mortgage our future for your real estate. Fix your buildings or pay the price. We WILL collect,” he said.

Is De Blasio extorting Trump?

Eric Trump, the middle son of President Trump, was livid at what he called extortion and an abuse of power by the mayor.

“The fact that the Mayor of a major city would attack an iconic organization (which employs thousands of hardworking New York taxpayers) for his own political gain is an abuse of power, unethical and simply counterintuitive.

Most Mayors do all they can to support great businesses – here in NYC, businesses are attacked for headlines and ‘political points’ and is this very mentality that is causing people to leave our great city in droves.

“@NYCMayor if you ever think there is an initiative that would be great for New York, I would be happy to come to city hall and visit you anytime. But forcing a pop-up press conference in our lobby is simply childish.

“Maybe one of these days we can work together, an invitation which remains open to you anytime. I wish you and our great city the best,” he said.
