One of the most beloved members of the “Full House” and “Fuller House” universe is done and she only has herself to blame.
Lori Loughlin, who has been caught in the college admissions scandal, is having her role as Aunt Becky taken off the show.
The show “Fuller House” on Netflix which is entering its final season focuses on DJ Tanner, played by Candace Cameron Bure, raising her children after the death of her husband.
In addition, other characters from the original series “Full House, Stephanie tanner, played by Jodies Sweetin and Kimmy Gibbler, played by Andrea Barber, are also main characters.
But other characters from the original show, such as Loughlin’s Aunt Becky, make frequent guest appearances on the show.
That is, until Loughlin was accused, and arrested for, cheating and bribing to get her daughters into the University of Southern California, TV Line reported.
Have mercy? Maybe not when it comes to Lori Loughlin‘s status on Fuller House‘s farewell season, in the wake of the actress being indicted for her alleged role in a wide-ranging college admissions bribery scheme.
As Hallmark Channel plots a future without the star of its wholesome When Calls the Heart drama and Garage Sale Mystery TV-movie series, sources tell TVLine that there are currently no plans for the embattled Loughlin to reprise her role as Aunt Becky during Fuller House‘s fifth and final season, which has yet to start production and will premiere on Netflix this fall.
Does Loughlin deserve the punishment?
A star of progenitor Full House, Loughlin guest-starred on the Warner Bros. TV-produced follow-up during its first four seasons, the most recent of which hit Netflix in December.
It is a major hit for her career, which took a mega hit on Thursday when hallmark announced that it was cutting ties with Loughlin.
Crown Media Family Networks, the company that owns the Hallmark cable channel, stopped working with its “Garage Sale Mysteries” star, Lori Loughlin, after she was charged in a college admissions scandal, it said on Thursday.
